This is the first in a series of illustrations I’m working on, related to the runway. While it’s still unfinished, I have some learnings to share.

I have learned from previous projects that beyond a certain threshold, the more detail you add to the face, the less beautiful the face becomes. For these illustrations I set out to keep minimal facial features.
